Saweco, a Hamburg based GPLN member who has historically specialized on logistics for the oil & gas industry, recently handled a cross trade shipment of cranes from Harwich in the Southeastern part of the United Kingdom to Tunis, Tunisia, in North Africa on behalf of PETROFAC’s Abu Dhabi arm.

“Although the shipment wasn’t a large project, (it consisted of 8 packages 15,522 kg / 48.686 m3), it was an urgent shipment and a cross trade which always requires special attention,” said Andreas Strache of Saweco.
